近日，半島電視臺在社交媒體臉書上發佈一部影片「牛尿能治療肝炎和糖尿病嗎？這些印度人認為可以」，該影片迅速引發網友熱議，目前該影片也已有105萬次點閱率。

影片中，農業科學家Ramesh Pal表示，他從1994年起開始研究牛尿，甚至還為牛群自己搭建牛棚。同時，他們也會生產有機農作物，不使用化肥、防腐劑或抗生素，他們只從牛尿提煉藥物。

此外，這些科學家還宣稱，牛尿和糞便所排放的氣體可以對抗輻射，甚至還有可能治癒癌症。

「牛尿計畫」副秘書長Manish Gupta更透露：「我們知道癌症是大病，但研究結果多次顯示，從牛尿中所淬煉出的精華對癌症患者來說非常有效。」

但影片隨後表示，別指望牛尿所製成的藥品很快就能在藥店上架。因為，這些科學家認為，他們的產品是非主流藥品。

看完這部影片，許多網友紛紛表示，「這種錯誤資訊會害死很多人，印度政府應該制止」，還有網友諷刺地回應，「聽說獅子尿還可以治療愛滋病，所以你只需要抓住一隻獅子並得到牠的尿，祝你好運！」
